Who we are

biological bar Bio cafèOur mission is the spreading of the network of bars called bio cafè on the national territory. Our purpose is to supply and sell (mainly, but not only) organic or, however, genuine and high-quality food.

Among the innovations, we’d like to put particular emphasis on the “Tollero” project, with which we develop, together with our franchisees, the right focus on food intolerances, a competence very rarely to be found in the current formula of bars. All this as set in a modern and designer context. The promoters of such initiative are Mrs. Barbara Deandrea and Mr. Gabriele Pacini, each of whom making use of his/her own experiences and skills.

Towards the end of 2005 we set up the conditions that allowed the first organic café shop to be officially opened in Alessandria in June 2006. The company that manages and develops the franchising network in Italy is Talla, whose headquarters are in Casale Monferrato (AL) - Italy.

  • Franchisees: our goal is to reach 6 affiliations in Italy by the end of 2009.
  • We are in charge of the pilot point in Alessandria with 100% of the quotas.
  • The development plan foresees the opening of at least one bio cafè in each Italian province. The medium and long term aim is to have about thirty members in 2012 and to set up new openings in European capitals, including at least one by 2010. .
  • The requirements of our franchisees are basically the standard ones: entrepreneurial attitudes, organizational skills and initiative, ability to inspire trust and respect in the customer as well as to motivate others, positive approach to problem solving, availability of funds for the realization of the project.

biological bar Bio cafèIn addition to the above - mentioned requirements, our franchisee should be in tune with us with regard to the innovative and ethical approach of our formula, he/she must see food culture as a proper way of life, he/she has or would like to have a specific knowledge of organic food as well as of food intolerances. Our project is also suitable to those already involved in this field who want to offer a healthy alternative and a fuller service.

Our formula is a modular one: from the corner to the complete renovation of the place, we offer the "turnkey" product, including training, assistance, communication, web, management support.

"Today, all markets present an offer that should deploy on one of two sides: either quality or price. As far as nutrition is concerned, the run towards minimum prices leads to the production of low quality food, full of chemical additives, with the consequent psycho-physical troubles of the users. Consumers are now becoming more and more aware of this fact: indeed, an ever growing number of consumers chooses according to principles that are beyond the traditional urges of buying. Such consumers are looking for high quality as they give their well-being top priority. Our mission is also to raise the numbers of such conscious consumers. "
